Hansen Pass Alpaca Ranch is owned and operated by Roxanne Hansen. Hansen Pass Alpacas Retail is owned by Roxanne Hansen and Rhea Stewart.

We are both natives of Buena Vista, CO and both really believe in Alpaca. Alpacas produce luxury fiber comparable to silk and cashmere. It is different than wool in that it does not contain lanolin or dander making alpaca Hypo-allergenic. It is a slick, wicking, partially hollow fiber that  does not retain odor and does not itch. 

Hansen Pass Alpacas uses our fiber in different ways including processing here in Colorado and then having products made in our small town, some is sent to the North American Alpaca Federation or North American Suri Company and don't forget the Spinners!

We are small business owners that are getting the word out about this new natural fiber that is being produced and processed in the United States. We do buy products made in Peru and Chile because their are not enough alpacas in the United States yet. You can help by raising alpacas, buying alpaca and processing alpaca!
