Alpaca is hypoallergenic. Does not contain lanolin or dander. The natural properties of alpaca fleece makes it stain, odor, wind and flame resistant (it will not melt). ALPACA WOOL DOES NOT ITCH! Pockets of air are created when the alpaca fiber is spun creating a light fabric. Alpaca fiber is soft, luxurious, warm, cool and able to wick moisture. With a semi hollow core alpaca fiber insulates while allowing for warmth and breathability.   Alpaca fiber wicking properties are important in keeping moisture away from the skin so that it stays warm or cool and dry.
