Alpaca fiber is soft, luxurious, warm, cool and able to wick moisture. With a semi hollow core alpaca fiber insulates while allowing for warmth and breathability.   Alpaca is hypoallergenic. Does not contain lanolin or dander. Pockets of air are created when the alpaca fiber is spun creating a light fabric. The natural properties of alpaca fleece makes it stain, odor, wind and flame resistant (it will not melt).
